The Pangasinan State University Bayambang Campus has been a household title in the spheres of education and civic service. The campus has been devoted for 100 years to realizing our visions and accomplishing missions.

With our long tradition of providing quality education and excellent service delivery, Bayambang Campus College of Teacher Education has maintained its well-deserved reputation of producing top caliber and globally competent educators. Through the years, it has been committed to the provision of eminent education in response to the shifting academic landscapes.

With a core of highly qualified, competent and passionate faculty members, the College remains steadfast in sustaining its reputation by providing state-of-the-art instructional facilities, maintaining a legacy of top notch performance in the Licensure Examinations, and establishing national and international linkages for collaboration sand partnership.

Now, the College of Teacher Education will chalk up the Retained Level IV accreditation of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP). We give premium to quality assurance and ensure the continuous improvement of our services. By undergoing several quality assurance mechanisms, our goal is not to acquire mere recognitions and accolades, but rather to keep on raising the bar of what we call the culture of quality – quality that’s embedded inside the PSU-BC system.

Despite the instability and uncertainty around us, we continue on our quest to fulfilling our four-fold functions and ensure that our mandate is unhampered and realized. We are proud to say that the pandemic didn’t stop us from breaking out of our shells and in achieving greater heights.

In early March this year, PSU-BC has been granted AACCUP Institutional Accreditation Level IV Re-Accredited status and our Teacher Education Program remains to be one of the Centers of Excellence in the country. Finally, just last year, we are proud to say that PSU is the very first SUC to be the recipient of the most prestigious Level 3 Philippine Quality Award as recognition for mastery in quality management. Now, PSU’s exceptional management practices become benchmarks and serve as models for other SUCs that are on a similar journey to performance excellence. These achievements are testament of our university’s unceasing quest for greatness.

All of these and many more unprecedented works are the things we collectively accomplished despite COVID-19. That’s why I am confident that we will also be able to breeze through this AACCUP accreditation.

I would like to thank all our accreditors for joining us in creating a more irrepressible, innovative and impactful PSU. Indeed, your undaunted commitment to helping educational institutions continually improve in delivering quality services is greatly apprized.

Of course, my sincerest gratitude to the campus officials, faculty members, and non-teaching staff of PSU-BC who have incessantly prepared all the voluminous documents and other pertinent things for this activity.

In closing, let me say that PSU-BC will continue to do everything we can today to make our future better and brighter. We will never settle for less and we’ll face the challenges head-on. And by doing so, our inextinguishable light will serve as an inspiration and beacon of hope in times of despair.
