Students, teaching, and non-teaching staff of Pangasinan State University Bayambang Campus gathered earlier today, November 6, at the Benigno Aldana Gymnasium for an ecclesiastical mass to celebrate the first Monday of the month of November.
The mass presider Rev. Fr. Jezer Tristan De Vera delivered a meaningful homily emphasizing that the concept of competition in love stems from the innate desire of people to be more giving than they are receiving. โA good Christian is a bad Mathematician as we should not compute nor calculate what we are giving willingly,” Fr. De Vera stated.
Following the mass, birthday celebrators for the month of November were also given special blessings by the parish priest.
The regular conduct of spiritual masses every Monday of the month is a practice of both the university and the campus to give thanks to God for various blessings and to promote values and character development amongst students and employees.
