With the vision of helping the staff of Pangasinan State Universityโ€” Bayambang Campus with their everyday tasks, the Institute of Nursing in partnership with the Vision Medix Eye Clinic led by Dr. Sylvia Laura Milan- Mirasol, held a free comprehensive eye examination and other eye care services today, May 17, at the Institute of Nursing Faculty Office.

โ€œ๐˜—๐˜ถ๐˜ฉ๐˜ถ๐˜ฏ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฐ ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜จ ๐˜ฎ๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ข ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฐ,โ€ stated Dr. Mirasol as she put emphasis on the importance of regular eye check-ups in detecting early signs and symptoms of visual problems that affect oneโ€™s eyesight which may eventually lead to poor work performance.

Student nurses from the fourth year, along with the faculty of the Nursing Department led by Dr. Maria Berenice Glizzle Catabay, IN Dean, assisted the VMEC team which has long been a partner of PSU-BC, offering various eye care services to employees for free for several years already.

The whole PSUโ€”BC, led by Dr. Ian D. Evangelista, campus executive director, expresses its heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Mirasol, Mr. James Ryan Mirasol, and the whole VMEC team for bringing this beneficial outreach activity closer to us.

The free eye check-up will be available until tomorrow, May 18, until 12 noon.
