𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗥𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | 𝗖𝗧𝗘 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴

As a requirement for Area 3 (Curriculum and Instruction) of the Accreditation Survey Visit, five (5) faculty members of the College of Teacher Education (CTE) conducted demonstration teaching as evidence of the implementation of the curriculum in the institution at the Main Building, PSU Bayambang on Wednesday, November 16.

CTE Dean, Dr. Amado C. Ramos (BEEd), as well as Mr. Ruel A. Bautista (BSEd-Mathematics), Ms. Salome Malicdem (BSEd-English), Miss Lara Dacal (Bachelor of Physical Education) and Miss Corneliagie Reyes (Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education) prepared lessons within their respective field of specialization and delivered them to sets of students.

Dr. Carlo F. Vadil and Dr. Evelyn Taban, accreditors from Nueva Vizcaya State University, as well as Dr. Israeli Caminos of Cebu Technological University, Dr. Albert C. Albina of Negros Oriental State University, and Dr. Amelia E. Silva of the University of Antique, observed the classes via Google Meet and gave their comments to the demonstration teacher – expressing their approval and applauding them for the delivery of lessons, authentic teaching styles, energy, and dynamism, use of technology, and active participation of students in the class.

The accreditors also conveyed well-wishes to the students of PSU Bayambang and encouraged them to further hone their skills as they continue learning under the care of the teachers in the institution.

Also during the third of the survey visit, Dr. Taban interviewed the Campus Executive Director, Dr. Liza L. Quimson, together with Dr. Razeale Resultay, Director for Curriculum and Instruction to ask about the requirements for the retention of the Level IV Status of the CTE programs, and then tackled the achievements of the institution, as well as the efforts of the administration to improve its service delivery.

Dr. Quimson, as she rode the momentum of the exchange, remarked, “𝘞𝘦 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯 𝘢𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘦, 𝘸𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘦.”

In response, Dr. Taban said, “𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵,” marking the culmination of the interview after extending their greetings of congratulations and gratitude to the campus officials and faculty members.
