Aside from the numerous competent professionals, PSU-BC has produced, it has also accumulated invaluable artifacts and memorabilia that symbolize its rich cultural heritage. It is, for this reason, part of the year-long Centennial Celebration is the launching of the state-of-the-art museum named after Sen. Geronima T. Pecson, Centennial Marker, Centennial Song, and Centennial Merchandise on March 29, at Benigno Aldana Gymnasium.
The program was spearheaded by the Social Sciences Department led by Dr. Cheryl Mendoza to commemorate the institutionโ€™s zeal for quality and excellence. Also present during the said occasion are the Campus Officials led by Dr. Liza L. Quimson together with the three College Deans, Dr. Luzviminda Q. Ramos (CTE), Dr. Gudelia Samson (CAST), and Dr. Cielo Fernandez (IN).
After the museum and marker launch, Dr. Allan Macaraeg, Education Program Supervisor I, DepEd San Carlos City (BSE Social Studies, Batch 97), Dr. Imelda Mendoza, President of Alumni Association, and Dr. Clarita Jimenez, Former Dean of College of Education, represented the alumni for their response.
Lastly, the Centennial Song entitled, โ€˜Aming Pamantasan, Aming Tahananโ€ was performed by Mr. Christian I. Chan (LIS Batch 93), Prof. Melanie R. Junio (BSE Batch 93), and Dr. Ma. Berenice Glizzel M. Catabay (LIS batch 90).
