“The administration [of the university] will always be ready to support the endeavors of the Supreme Student Councils (SSCs),” Dr. Dexter R. Buted, the university president, guaranteed the SSC officers when they paid a courtesy call on him at the Golden Lion Hotel in Lingayen, Pangasinan, October 26.
Supreme Student Council (SSC) officers of the Bayambang, Alaminos City, and Lingayen campuses attended the courtesy call where they swore to their respective offices before the university president. Dr. Buted reminded the student-leaders to be role models and to never tarnish the institution’s reputation.
PSU-BC SSC president, Jan Rlee J. De Guzman, along with her fellow officers in the executive department: Jun Eduard A. Vinoya, Maria Benjamina G. Lopez, Jherson E. Agaton, Nichole R. Beltran, Vincent M. Sison, Marc Rodolf F. Domasin, Matmarlluan S.Torio, Kim Deborah C. Lacambra, and Jerico Alano, and Mr. John Joseph D. Zarate, SSC Adviser, participated in the said assemblage.
“I am empowered to serve my fellow students in my home campus Bayambang, especially now that Dr. Buted himself assured us of the unwavering support of the university for our endeavors,โ De Guzman told the campus press.
De Guzman recently won in the Federated Student Government (FSG) elections in her bid for the executive vice-presidential post for A.Y. 2022-2023.
