Before today’s historic return of in- person classes after two years of remote learning, basic ed institutions around the country have first prepared their schools thru this year’s Brigada Eskwela which is themed “Tugon sa Hamon sa Ligtas na Balik- Aral.”
Thru an extension activity held last Thursday, August 18, the College of Arts, Sciences and Technology (CAST) offered its help in the conduct of Brigada Eskwela at PSU-BC’s adopted schools namely Tanolong National High School and Tanolong Elementary School.
Apart from providing cleaning materials and protective equipment such as alcohol sprays and facemasks for teachers and students, participants of the extension service also helped in the cleaning of rooms and surroundings of the said schools.
Led by CAST Dean Dr. Gudelia Samson, the said activity was attended by students, club officers, faculty members and department chairs of all four (4) programs under the college namely: AB in English Language (ABEL), BS in Information Technology (BSIT), BS in Business Administration (BSBA), and Bachelor of Public Administration (BPA).
A short meeting with the heads of both schools namely Dr. Darcy Rio Lopez and Dr. Armando Ceralde of Tanolong ES and Tanolong NHS respectively was also held to discuss future partnerships with PSU-BC.
