In the observance of the Fire Prevention Month 2022, PSU Bayambang Campus conducted a Fire Safety Awareness Training and Drill among its personnel, March 16.
PSU-BCโ€™s non-teaching staff, headed by Administrative Officer Michael M. Tolentino, led the said training which aims to raise fire safety awareness among PSU-BC employees and ensure that our campus, its staff, and students are all protected from the danger caused by fire.
In the said fire drill, Tolentino emphasized the importance of the Pull, Aim, Squeeze and Sweep (P.A.S.S) method when using the fire extinguisher. He further illustrated how a fire extinguisher should be handled and discussed what each stage includes, giving the user ample instruction to operate the extinguisher properly.
Meanwhile, all the facilities on the campus are subjected to a regular fire safety inspection. The implementation of various fire safety measures remains to be one of the top priorities of the campus to ensure the safety of every PSUnian.
