An echoing call for revolutionary change straightened up the course for the pursuit of educational excellence amongst the Pangasinenses, particularly the Bayambanguenos. There, in the verdant hills of Quezon Blvd. is where the then-seedling could be found – like a diamond amongst the rocks.
But there, within the very realms of that ‘seedling’ is the ancient giants which seem to be its full-fledged guardians – the CENTURY-OLD Acacia Trees. All throughout our temporal journey inside PSU, those trees have been silently, carefully watching all over us in every second of our stay.
These century-old Acacia trees are the most fitting symbolism for PSUโ€™s fruitful endeavor as a quality educational institution. Having been stood for decades, both PSU and the trees continue to anchor their roots to good use โ€“ to grow, to nurture, to produce, and to place the finest leaves (students) up into the sky.
They remained strong through the years. The Acacia Trees have surpassed countless of storms, calamities, and even a world war, and yet it still helps a lot in many ways. It does not exist only to add aesthetic vibes for your ideal profile picture, but in every fiber of its trunk are the whole history of PSU that we will never get to see, hear, but only feel.
