Representatives from the DOST Central office visited the PSU DOST 1 Food Innovation Center to conduct an inventory of DOST donated equipment and validate financial reports of the various research projects of Pangasinan State University funded by the DOST Grants-In-Aid (GIA) Program.
The Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension & Innovation Office (OIC) headed by Dr. Razeale G. Resultay, together with OIC Campus Executive Director Dr. Ma. Theresa Macaltao, welcomed the visitors from DOST-Central Office and DOST Regional Office 1.
Dr. Wilma M. De Vera, FIC Head together with Ms. Meryl A. Bernardino, DOST1- FIC research fellow assisted in the inventory and tagging of stickers to the various equipment donated to PSU such as the vacuum fryer, water retort, freeze dryer, vacuum packaging machine, band sealer, water purification system overhead tank, water filter, 2 whiteboards, digital refractometer, and band sealer among others. Ms. Julfa Tribo and Ms Elizabeth Dela Cruz, representative from DOST central office successfully tagged and labeled all the said equipment.
On the other hand, Dr. Oliver Caasi, Head for the Integrated Agriculture Center along with Sta. Maria campusโ accountants, Ms. Lerma Ulpindo and Ms. Apple Garcia, presented the financial reports and liquidation of the expenses to Ms. Shiela May Desagun, Accounting Representative of the DOST-Central Office for review and validation.
Representatives coming from the DOST Region 1, Ms. Annalie Rosales and Ms. Adelisa Florendo were also present during the said event.
