The Pangasinan State University-Technology Business Incubation (TBI) team engaged in a knowledge sharing on Product Innovation and Technology Business Incubation with its counterparts in Mariano Marcos State University last May 18, 2023 at the MMSU Science Innovation and Partnerships (SIP) Hub.
MMSU welcomed the PSU delegates with a banner on their prestigious wall in the university. Subsequently, the PSU TBI team had a courtesy call to MMSU President, Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis, who was represented by Dr. Nathaniel R. Alibuyog, the Vice President for Research and Extension.
In the meeting, Prof. Armie C. Sabugo showcased the MMSU TBI Unit, on the other hand, the ATBI milestone was elucidated by Prof. Ethel Reyna M. Calivoso, the ATBI project leader. In addition, Prof. Sabugo presented the DOST-MMSU Bannuar TBI, followed by Engr. Artbellson B. Mannuari in the role of the UITSO in the TBI.
Meanwhile, the PSU TBI Manager, Dr. Gudelia M. Samson presented the TBI proposal experience and developmental plan, followed by Dr. Wilma M. De Vera, Center Head of PSU-FIC, as represented by Dr. Roseanne Jane Agustin-Cera, the TBI Co-manager to feature the best practices of the Food Innovation Center.
The two state universities had a short open forum for the discussion and exchange of ideas regarding the product innovation and the development of technology business incubation.
After the meeting, the PSU TBI team took a campus tour, particularly to the universityโs TBI office, Food Processing and Innovations Center, and the National Bioenergy Research and Innovations Center.
The entire Pangasinan State University, led by Dr. Elbert M. Galas, University President, together with Dr. Razeale Resultay, Vice President of Research, Extension, Innovation and Gender and Development (REIGN) division, Dr. Armando Junio, the Director for Extension Services, Engr. Jeffrey Pereyras of ITSO, Dr. Gudelia M. Samson, TBI manager, expresses its sincerest gratitude to the MMSU administration for the said benchmarking activity experience, and looks forward to more significant collaborations with MMSU.
