In the celebration of the Philippine Association for Teachers of Educational Foundations – United Professionals for the Development and Advancement of Teacher Education (๐๐๐๐๐ -๐๐๐๐๐๐) 20th Anniversary and Mid-year Convention 2023, three (3) faculty members of Pangasinan State University – Bayambang Campus (PSU-BC) namely Dr. Lovejoy R. Caerlang, Ms. Jessa T. Eugenio, and Mr. Cyrus P. Casingal emerged victorious amongst other researchers in the nation as they landed to the top 5 in the Higher Education Institution Category, last May 17-19, 2023 at Century Part Hotel, Manila, Philippines.
Pegged on the theme, “๐๐ถ๐ต๐ถ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ด ๐๐ฉ๐ช๐ฏ๐ฌ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ: ๐๐ต๐ด ๐๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ญ๐ช๐ค๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ด ๐ต๐ฐ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ฉ๐ช๐ญ๐ช๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ช๐ฏ๐ฆ ๐๐ฅ๐ถ๐ค๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ ๐๐บ๐ด๐ต๐ฆ๐ฎ”, this mid-year convention was organized by PATEF-UPDATE in partnership with Philippine Normal Univery (PNU) aims to gather teacher educators, teachers, school administrators, researchers, and other education stakeholders to develop an in-depth and critical understanding of the opportunities and challenges of Futures Thinking in the Philippine Educational System; to promote and disseminate empirical studies related to the future of education in the basic and tertiary levels and in the area of teacher education; and build a network of educators and researchers to promote futures thinking as an area of sharing and collaboration.
Dr. Caerlang, Ms. Eugenio, and Mr. Casingal successfully presented their research paper entitled “๐๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ ๐๐ฑ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง๐๐๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฒ ๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ซ๐๐๐ข๐ญ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง” and was awarded as the fifth best in the State Universities and Colleges Category.
