Aiming to spread understanding and awareness on Intellectual Property and foster innovations and creations in the PSU community, the PSU-BC Research and Development Office in partnership with Innovation and Technology Support Office (ITSO), hosted a webinar on Intellectual Property (IP), held via MS teams, June 2.

According to Campus Research Coordinator Matthew John F. Sino Cruz, who welcomed the attendees thru an opening remarks, the said orientation aims to enhance understanding of intellectual property rights and to foster a culture of respect and innovation among faculty, non-faculty, and students of PSU-BC.

The webinar was then led by Engr. Jeff G. Pereyras of the Innovation and Technology Support Office (ITSO) who comprehensively explained the concept of intellectual property, its various types, and scope, emphasizing on how to monetize creations and innovations as well as how intellectual property can be beneficial for oneโ€™s professional development and business.

The Pangasinan State University- Bayambang Campus, led by Campus Executive Director Dr. Ian D. Evangelista, expresses its heartfelt appreciation to Engr. Pereyras, the Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension & Innovation Office led by Dr. Razeale G. Resultay (OIC), and the ITSO who made this event a success.
