One of the best practices of Pangasinan State University Bayambang Campus is its relationships and linkages with various local government units which paved way for the birth of the ICT Konek project. A partnership was formed wherein, PSU Bayambang will lend all its available computers to municipalities that agreed to provide learning space that is accessible and safe for students.
And on March 2, 2022, PSU BC spearheaded the PSU-LGU ICT Konek Exit Program at the Day Care Center of Basista, Pangasinan. Dr. Luzviminda Ramos, CTE Dean, and Dr. Cielo Fernandez, IN Dean, offered their words of gratitude to all the members of LGU Basista for the prompt response to the partnership. Also present in the said event are Dr. Roseanne Agustin, Extension Coordinator and other selected faculty members of PSU BC.
On the contrary, Hon. Bernard S. Doria, Municipal Councilor and Sangguniang Bayan Committee Chairman on Education delivered an inspirational message on behalf of Hon. Jolly R. Resuello, Municipal Mayor of Basista. Mr. Arturo Paraso, Municipal Secretary along with other members of LGU Basista were in attendance during the said event.
Supposedly, another exit conference was scheduled at LGU Malasqiui but due to the conflict of schedule, it was canceled. Hence, the PSU team decided to visit the office of Hon. Noel Anthony M. Geslani, to show the institution’s appreciation for the invaluable support of the LGU Malasiqui to the ICT Konek project.
A certificate of appreciation was presented to Hon. Jolly R. Resuello and Hon. Noel Anthony M. Geslani, for the promotion of quality and excellence in education through the PSU-LGU-ICT Konek Project as well as the prompt response to the call of partnership for continuous improvement of the service delivery in the midst of the pandemic.
