To accommodate queries, concerns, and challenges faced by the teaching interns in the new normal education, the Office of the Practice Teaching and Review Center of PSU-Bayambang Campus held a Teaching Interns Mid-Conference on April 18 via MS Teams.
The said event was attended by the campus officials led by the Campus Executive Director Dr. Liza L. Quimson; Teaching Internship coordinators Dr. Rico A. Reyes, and Ms. Kimberly B. Inaldo; the Dean of the College of Teacher Education Dr. Luzviminda Q. Ramos; the chairperson of the Professional Education Department Dr. Amado C. Ramos, Assoc. Prof. Perla G. Delos Santos, and the teaching interns led by Mr. Marvin A. Malicdem, the president of the Teaching Internship Organization.
In the said conference, various tips and motivational messages were given to the teaching interns to inspire them to continue reaching for their dream of becoming full-fledged professional teachers despite the adversities they encounter.
In her message, Dr. Quimson encouraged all teaching interns to pursue their professional and personal academic endeavors despite the challenges brought by the new normal. She also stressed on the significant role played by the teachers in molding the future of the students.
After the sharing of pieces of advice by the campus officials, the floor was opened for the teaching interns’ questions and concerns.
