Teaching interns from various teacher education programs of Pangasinan State University–Bayambang Campus gathered for their Practice Teachers’ Mid-Conference held at the Benigno Aldana Gymnasium, October 29. The activity was organized by the Teaching Internship Organization (TIO) to mark the transition of interns to the second phase of their internship journey.
Student Interns from the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECEd), Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd), Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd), and Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) majors in Science and Filipino convened to reflect on their teaching experiences and share insights gained from their assigned schools.
In his inspirational message, Bachelor of Elementary Education and Professional Education Department Dr. Emmanuel Ross B. Tomas reminded the interns that their current experiences represent only a glimpse of the realities and rewards of the teaching profession.
“The classroom may test your patience and creativity, but it will also shape your character and strengthen your calling as future educators,” Dr. Tomas stated.
The conference also highlighted the sharing of insights and experience of various student interns from partner schools from the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Laboratory Elementary and High School Department of the campus.
The mid-conference served as a meaningful platform for reflection, encouragement, and peer learning—equipping PSU-Bayambang’s teaching interns with renewed motivation and deeper understanding as they continue their journey toward becoming competent educators.
