To empower mothers, PSU BC’s Business Administration Department launched Livelihood Skills Training for Women last December 21, 2020 at the PSU DOST-FIC building.

With a fund of Php 25,000, this event aimed to empower mothers from several barangays in Bayambang, Pangasinan, to upskill women in making dishwashing liquid, alcohol hand sanitizer, as well as to teach them the correct pricing and basic marketing strategies.

Dr. Gudelia Samson, the department chairperson, spearheaded the said program together with Dr. Cahatol, Mr. Ventayen, and Dr. Agustin. The 29 mothers also received gifts on their children’s behalf during the gift-giving  activity. The presents were for their children who are enrolled at PSU-Assisted Day Care centers.
