Precious Smiles.  Two of the recipients of the hygiene kit flash their sweet smiles after receiving their very own hygiene kits.
The BSBA faculty take time to capture a memento with the day care pupils and their parents.

Responding to the needs of the Typhoon Lawin victims, the Pangasinan State University— Bayambang Campus through the BSBA Department held Tulong Pantao at the Day Care Center of Brgy. Bani, Bayambang, Pangasinan on Dec. 2, 2016.

Through the partnership of the BSBA Extensionists and the Barangay Bani council, the university was able to distribute 30 hygiene kits to daycare pupils whose personal kits were washed out by the flood caused by the said typhoon.

“Balbaleg ya salamat ed PSU ta apili yon tulungan so Barangay Bani. Pisalamatan ko met ya balbaleg so saray estudyante na PSU ta apaliket yo ray ugugaw ed sayan hygiene kit [I would like to profusely thank PSU for choosing Barangay Bani as a recipient of your aid.  I also would like to equally thank the PSU students as they have put a smile to the faces of the children because of these hygiene kits],” Mr. Rodelito Bautista, the barangay captain, said.

Prior to the distribution of the hygiene kits, the BSBA students entertained the daycare pupils, parents, and barangay officials with intermission numbers and parlor games.

Meanwhile, the university released support funds amounting to Php 15, 000 for the hygiene kit procurement, and the BSBA Club shouldered other expenses for this outreach program.

Dr. Gudelia Samson concluded the program by expressing her gratitude toward the barangay officials, the BSBA students, and the daycare pupils who were the recipients of the hygiene kits.
