PSU- Bayambang bolsters its partnership with LGU- Bayambang anew thru a year-long extension program entitled “Capability Building Program for Child Development Workers (CDWs)”. With the theme “Upgrading the Quality of Child Development Workers in Bayambang amidst the Pandemic”, the said initiative officially kicked off this morning, June 22 at the Bayambang Events Center.
Led by the Laboratory Integrated Schools (LIS) – Elementary Department and Early Childhood Education (ECEd) Department, the extension program aims to provide series of valuable training and workshops to the town’s CDWs which will help them fulfill their challenging roles especially in this time of crisis.
The launching of the said program was joined by Dr. Liza L. Quimson (Campus Executive Director), Assoc. Prof. Tuesday C. De Leon (LIS Principal), Assoc. Prof. Belinda S. Velasquez (Chair, LIS –ELEM), Dr. Raquel G. Larang, Asst. Prof. Rudjane C. Tunac (Chair, BECED), Dr. Perla G. Delos Santos (GAD Coor.), Ms. Kimberly P. Basco, RSW (OIC, Municipal Social Welfare Development), Ms. Rizza Mae R. Onza (Child Development Service Program, Focal Person, LGU BAYAMBANG and Mr. Rafael Saygo (Chair, Municipal Supervising Tourism Operations) who represented Hon. Mayor Cezar T. Quiambao together with all of the faculty members of the LIS-Elementary Department and ECEd Department.
