Garnering 185 votes (41%) among 27 colleges and universities, Pangasinan State University and DOST1- Food Innovation Centerโ€™s Vacuum Fried Oyster Mushroom Chips and Technology presented by Dr. Roseanne Jane Agustin, Extension Coordinator and Technology team member of Research and Technology Developers assigned in Marketing, grabbed Best Technology Pitch for Food Products and Beverages and 3rd place Best in Poster during S&T Creations, Technology Pitch Day via Zoom and Fb Live, May 31, 2022, 9 AM.

With the tagline โ€œMusharap and Mushustansiyang Snackโ€, some of the highlighted competitive advantages of the product are the following: (1) Healthier than usual fried chips; (2) Vacuum Fried to preserve the nutritional content; (3) Longer Shelf Life and; (4) Good Value Offering and Pricing.

The set retail price of the product is P120 per pack while P90 per pack for the wholesale price which are good for its quality, value, and content.

The said program was conducted as a Support to the Universityโ€™s Strategies in Technology Acceleration Initiatives (SUSTAIN) by Intellectual Property and Technology Business Management (IP-TBM) Offices of the Consortia Member Agencies.
