Delegates from various Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Food Innovation Centers (FIC) in the North Luzon Cluster (Cluster A) such as Regions 2, 3, and Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), visited the PSU DOST 1 FIC for a benchmarking activity, May 13.
The said activity is part of the ongoing Training of Entrepreneurs and Researchers conducted by the Industrial Technology Development Institute of DOST entitled โFIC Marketing Academy: Concept to Market Launch Year 2โ which allows its participants from the FICs of every region to disseminate their learnings to more researchers and Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
In the said benchmarking activity, the PSU DOST 1 FIC team warmly received the delegates led by Dr. Nora Garcia, Provincial Director of Batanes, Engr. Sylvia Lacambra, Provincial Director of Cagayan, and Maโam Rona Bautista of DOST Apayao, by showing its various processing equipment and facility which improve the quality of its award-winning products.
Furthermore, the said activity also paved way for the researchers from various regions to discuss on modern food processing techniques and other research innovationsโ hinting a possible partnership in the future.
