A cascading activity on the Strategic Development Plan (SDP) for 2021-2025 and Annual Operational Plan (AOP) 2021 was held at PSU-Asingan Campus accreditation room last March 8.

The Planning Coordinator, Mr. Laurence D. Agsalud initiated the said activity where he discussed the targets for AOP 2021 to the faculty and staff along the six (6) strategic goals of the university namely: excellent student learning and career development; strong research culture and technology transfer; good governance; sustainable social responsiveness; responsive to globalization and diversity and customer focused that somehow paved the way in crafting the individual performance commitment (IPC) of the faculty and staff.

Dr. Valentin Calpo, Jr., the hardworking CED said, โ€œThe offering of a degree like Master of Information Technology (MIT) could increase the enrollment of a campus, however, it will just be offered to the School of Advanced Studies as mentioned by the University President, Dr. Dexter R. Buted in the meeting.โ€

โ€œThus, to increase the enrollment of the campus instead of it, the offering of BSIT and BIT program in an online platform would do since the two programs are level III Accredited. Furthermore, the accreditation room could also be transformed into temporary faculty lounge so that faculty and staff will have a comfortable place to stay,โ€ he added.

Mr. Agsalud also told the news that the campus may have the chance to admit International students as mentioned by the Director of the International Linkages during their meeting which will be conducted virtually if given the opportunity.

Meanwhile, the faculty and staff also actively participated in the discussion concerning the targets on the different strategic goals and some gave their suggestions as well as their recommendations on how they meet and accomplish them . After the collaboration, they came up with a common goal, to work hand in hand to realize and meet all the targets they set.
