With the aim of recognizing the efforts and hardwork of Women as well as celebrating their accomplishments, successes, and significant contributions to the community, PSU ACC recognizes Dr. Emielou E. Gellado as one of “My Wonder Juana” awardees during its Culminating Ceremony on the 2021 National Women’s Month Celebration with the theme: Juana Laban Sa Pandemya: Kaya!
Dr. Gellado is currently the City Administrator of the Local Government Unit of Alaminos City, Pangasinan. The brilliant and hands-on city administrator deliberated on the significance of dedication, passion and commitment in public service specifically during these tough times as she was also the Guest of Honor and Speaker of the said ceremony. With her supervision under the leadership of City Mayor, Arth Bryan Celeste, the Local Government Unit of the city of Alaminos continues to make preparations as well as curative and preventive measures in order to ensure that a safer and a pandemic-free environment awaits its citizens.
Not only is Dr. Gellado a public servant and professor, she is also a loving wife and a caring mother to her son. Being able to perform all these duties and responsibilities with grace and such professionalism truly makes Dr. Gellado a “Wonder Juana”!
