The Guidance and Counselling Office organized a seminar-workshop on fostering mental health awareness and wellness in the workplace with the theme “Highlighting the Significance of Mental Health to Education Professionals” last April 23, 2021.

The event took place at PSU Urdaneta Campus Library. The seminar-workshop was participated by the non-teaching personnel. It was divided into two sections attended by two credible resources. In the morning session, Dr. Rosalina N. Caoile, the Chief Health Program Officer of DOH San Fernando, La Union, shared her expertise in heightening mental health awareness and introduced tips on how to cope with stress. The afternoon session focused on the topic “Handling Difficult People” discussed by the campus guidance counselor Mrs. Shirley  A. Layona.

After the two lectures, the participants accomplished an activity and presented their outputs as part of the workshop planned by the organizers to assess understanding and personal insights on mental health awareness.
